Explore the Trails  

At Cascade Springs Nature Preserve, there are over 120 acres to explore and discover.

The preserve features a network of well-maintained trails that wind through forests, along streams, and up hills, providing breathtaking views and opportunities for wildlife sightings.

Whether you prefer a leisurely stroll or a more challenging hike, there is a trail for every level of adventurer.

Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and a camera (if you’d like) to capture the beauty around every corner.

Discover the Flora and Fauna

As you wander through Cascade Springs Nature Preserve, keep an eye out for the diverse array of plants and animals that call this area home.

The preserve is home to over 200 species of trees, including rare and endangered species such as the American Chestnut and Longleaf Pine.

Wildflowers, ferns, and mosses also add splashes of color throughout the landscape.

If you’re lucky, you may spot some of the many animals that inhabit the area, including deer, foxes, turtles, and a variety of birds.

Cascade Falls  

While Cascade Springs Nature Preserve is known for its serene streams and lush woodlands, visitors frequently inquire about the presence of waterfalls.

As the name implies, the preserve features a beautiful waterfall known as Cascade Falls. This stunning natural feature adds a sense of wonder to the preserve and is a favorite among photographers and nature lovers.

Radcliffe Bailey Art Installation
